Sponsored Program Management

Managing a sponsored program comes with both opportunities and challenges. Project directors and team members should know the steps before and after the award and follow TSC’s policies and procedures. The Sponsored Programs staff is here to help with these tasks.

They support project work by helping with compliance, spending, and financial reporting. The Sponsored Programs team also helps faculty, staff, and administrators in areas such as:

  • new award acceptance and setup

  • budget management

  • financial reporting

  • contract proposals and negotiations

  • obtain appropriate signatures 

  • obtain approval of legal counsel (if necessary)

  • time and effort certification

  • indirect cost (f&a) recovery and rate

  • closeout and record retention

  • grant management support
