In a historic move, the Florida Department of Education granted Tallahassee State College (TSC) the distinction of being the first college charter school authorizer in January 2023, marking the start of a new era in learning. At TSC, we are committed to providing students with unparalleled opportunities.
On August 10, 2023, Tallahassee Collegiate Academy (TCA) opened its doors to welcome the first students. Graduates of TCA will not only hold a high school diploma but also walk away with an Associate of Science degree in a STEM field—all without the burden of debt. They are well-equipped to enter the workforce with in-demand, high-paying job prospects or continue their educational journey.
