Tallahassee Community College is excited to open applications for its award-winning Eagles RISE Summer Academy. The summer bridge program is offered June 27 - August 9.
This hybrid experience includes free tuition, books, materials and will serve as a smooth transition from high school to college for qualifying Florida graduating high school seniors.
“The program has made a huge impact on me during my first fall semester at TCC,” said Caya Austin, a past Eagles RISE Summer Academy participant. “I didn’t realize how big of an impact it was going to be until I started fall classes and realized that without this program, I wouldn’t have made the connections I have now.”
Interested students can apply at tcc.fl.edu/summeracademy.
“We are pleased to offer Florida graduating seniors an early, debt-free opportunity to transition to college,” said Sharisse Turner, Dean of Transitional Studies. “With the ultimate goal of success and completion, the award-winning Eagles RISE Summer Academy at TCC endeavors to create a flourishing community of learners.”
The deadline for applications is March 15.
