Tallahassee Community College will host an eclipse viewing event on Monday, April 8, at 2:45 p.m. The event will take place on the Intramural Fields.
When the eclipse reaches its peak, Tallahassee residents will be able to witness three-fourths of the sun covered by the moon – left only to reveal a stunning crescent shape. To ensure safe viewing of the eclipse, the college will have viewing glasses available for attendees. There will also be filters that can be attached to your cellphone, allowing you to grab the perfect picture of the eclipse. A group of TCC professors will attend to be able to answer questions.
