The Florida Public Safety Institute will host its 15th Annual Black History Month Breakfast for Criminal Justice Professionals on Thursday, February 29, at 8:30 a.m. at the FPSI Conference Center.
The event will commence with a meet and greet session at 8 a.m. followed by breakfast at 8:30 a.m. This year’s guest speaker will be Chief Marshal Silvester Dawson (Ret.) of the Florida Supreme Court. The event will honor Interim-Chief Carlos Hill of the Quincy Police Department and Major Jeffrey Bissainthe of the Florida Highway Patrol for their contributions to the community.
“We are proud to host this event for its 15th year,” said Janet Hartman, Executive Director of the Florida Public Safety Institute. “It is an amazing opportunity to honor the contributions of our local criminal justice professionals.”
