TSC Fine Art Gallery to Present "Portraits in Passing" Exhibit

Tallahassee State College Fine Art Gallery presents Ann Kozeliski’s “Portraits in Passing: A Collection of Portraits of a Moment.”

Kozeliski uses the traditional style of Chinese portraits to capture the authenticity of her subjects and their environments. Her main objective is to invite viewers to connect their own stories to those of her subjects through her paintings. She believes art has the power to draw viewers in, offering them the opportunity to incorporate their own stories into the works before them. Walking among the panels of the installation immerses viewers in the dialogue, transforming the otherwise seen but unseen images into a tangible presence.

The exhibit will be open Mondays through Thursdays from 1 to 4 p.m., January 16 through February 20. Admission to the gallery and parking on the TSC campus is free.
