Tallahassee State College to Host National “Pathways to Prosperity” Summit in Partnership with NACCE

June 3, 2025

Tallahassee State College (TSC), in partnership with the National Association for Community College Entrepreneurship (NACCE), will host the 2025 Pathways to Prosperity Summit from Wednesday, June 3, through Friday, June 6, on the College’s main campus. This national gathering will bring educators, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and workforce development leaders from across the country together to explore innovative strategies that connect education, entrepreneurship, and economic mobility.

The summit will feature dynamic keynote speakers, breakout sessions, and networking opportunities focused on creating equitable access to opportunity and accelerating student success through entrepreneurship and workforce-aligned education.

“At Tallahassee State College, we see every day how community colleges change lives,” said Dr. Jim Murdaugh, president of TSC. “We meet students who are the first in their families to attend college, individuals seeking a fresh start, and entrepreneurs with bold ideas just waiting to be realized. That’s why the mission of this summit resonates so deeply with us—it’s about removing barriers, opening doors, and fueling innovation that creates real opportunity.”

The event is organized by NACCE, a national leader in advancing entrepreneurship education and community impact through two-year colleges. Dr. Rebecca Corbin, NACCE’s President and CEO, was praised by Dr. Murdaugh as a “visionary leader” in building a national movement around entrepreneurship and economic empowerment.

Programming will include keynote addresses, interactive breakout sessions, and panel discussions on key topics such as:

  • Integrating entrepreneurship into curriculum
  • Empowering rural and underserved communities
  • Leveraging artificial intelligence for workforce development
  • Supporting student success through community partnerships

The summit will also highlight national best practices and showcase local innovation, positioning Tallahassee as a hub for future-focused dialogue and collaboration.
