Tallahassee State College (TSC) has been recognized as one of the Most Promising Places to Work in Community Colleges for 2025. This prestigious designation, awarded by the National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development (NISOD) in collaboration with Diverse: Issues in Higher Education, highlights institutions that excel in student and staff recruitment and retention, foster inclusive learning and working environments, and provide meaningful community engagement opportunities.
TSC is one of 16 colleges in the nation to receive this prestigious award. Notably, TSC was also named one of the Most Promising Places to Work in Community Colleges in 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2022.

That’s why we are so intentional in our efforts to create the best possible work environment for them. I couldn’t be prouder that our institution is recognized as one of the most promising places to work in community colleges.”
