TCC Hosts Second Annual Tallahassee History Festival

Tallahassee Community College will host the second annual Tallahassee History Festival on Saturday, March 25, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Kleman Plaza in Downtown Tallahassee. The free community event features programs, exhibits, reenactments, and activities showcasing Florida’s rich history. TCC Earns Two Exemplary Program Awards

Tallahassee Community College brought home two exemplary program awards from the National Council for Continuing Education & Training (NCCET). The Division of Workforce Development received the Exemplary Program Award for Innovation Through Collaboration, and the Wakulla Environmental Institute received the Exemplary Program Award for the Oyster Aquaculture Training Program. The awards were presented during NCCET Annual Conference and Partner Exhibition which took place in Nashville, Tenn. Read More

TCC Wakulla Center Hosting SAT Test Sessions

The TCC Wakulla Center is excited to offer two upcoming SAT test sessions, May 6, 2023 and June 3, 2023. The test sessions will address the demand for students to take the test locally, without having to travel to Tallahassee or outlying counties. Sabal Palm Third Graders Tour TCC

Third grade students from Sabal Palm Elementary, A Community Partnership School toured Tallahassee Community College on Friday, March 3. Students visited the award-winning William D. Law, Jr. Learning Commons, library, Dr. Lei Wang STEM Center, Dental Hygiene Clinic, Turner Auditorium in the Fine and Performing Art Center, and Lifetime Sports Complex, and had the opportunity to learn about the many career and technical education programs available at TCC. TCC Brain Bowl wins NAQT Community College Championship

The Tallahassee Community College Brain Bowl team won the 2023 National Academic Quiz Tournaments (NAQT) Community College Quiz Bowl Championship. This is the first national title in TCC’s program history. Annual Surface Mining Regional and National Prep Emergency Training and Contest

Miners, emergency responders, and safety workers will have the opportunity to test their skills at the Third Annual Surface Mining Regional and National Prep Emergency Training and Contest, hosted by the Florida Mine Safety Program.
