FPSI to Host 18th Annual Bloodhound Scent Tracking Seminar

Tallahassee State College’s Florida Public Safety Institute (FPSI) is hosting the 18th Annual Bloodhound Scent Tracking Seminar from September 7 through 12. This year’s event will host 27 Bloodhound teams representing six states, including Florida, North Carolina, Texas, Minnesota, Georgia, and Tennessee. These teams represent law enforcement agencies and volunteer civilian search and rescue (SAR) teams. Eugene Lamb Jr. Elected Chair of Tallahassee State College District Board of Trustees

The Tallahassee State College (TSC) District Board of Trustees elected Trustee Eugene Lamb, Jr. as the new Board Chair at its meeting on August 18. He succeeds Trustee Karen Moore. Long-time trustee Frank Messersmith was elected Vice-Chair. Trustee Lamb is known for deep-rooted connections to the College and community. Initially appointed in 2007 by Governor Charlie Crist, Lamb has since been reappointed to five consecutive terms by Governors Rick Scott and Ron DeSantis. Read More
