Welcome to TSC
As a new student at Tallahassee State College, we know you have questions and will need some guidance as you begin your TSC experience. New Student Orientation helps students transition to our campus, learn about the student experience, academic requirements and supports, and tools to be successful.
The Orientation module will be available in the summer and accessible through Canvas learning system.

Student Confidentiality
The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) affords students certain rights with respect to their educational records. Understand your students' privacy rights.
Academic Deadlines
Along with your student, you can make note of important dates and deadlines to make sure they are met each semester. It is especially important to stay ahead of the fee payment deadlines to avoid your student from being dropped from classes.
Payment Options
In addition to paying online, TSC accepts payments that are either dropped off physically or mailed to the Cashier's Office. Learn about our convenient payment options.
Financial Aid
If your student is applying for financial aid, they need to check their status. The FAFSA is just the beginning of the process and all financial aid students need to ensure their financial aid file is completed at least two weeks prior to the fee payment date. If students are missing documents in their Admission’s file (residency, transcripts etc.), financial aid cannot be processed.
If your student registers after the Tuition Payment date, tuition and fees are due on the day of registration, which means their financial aid file must be completed and awarded or they will need to be prepared to pay out of pocket.
