- Help you understand and ensure your access to all of the campus resources available to you
- Help you succeed by providing study space and special tutoring at your convenience
- Help TSC faculty and staff understand your unique needs as a student veteran
- Provide you with the tools you need to stay on track and finish your degree
- Provide priority registration during the registration window
Services
The Veterans Success Center (VSC) provides study space, computers, meeting space, lounge space, and access to advising and tutoring in one central location. At this time, the VSC is open. Students may make an appointment to meet with their academic advisor by calling (850) 201-9812.
Each semester, military students and their families are provided priority registration during the registration window for Special Populations. Students find their priority registration date in Workday as well as on the academic calendar for registration dates.

VetSuccess on Campus Counselor
Tallahassee State College is 1 of 94 colleges and universities to host the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs' VetSuccess on Campus (VSOC) Program. The VSOC Program serves as the on-campus face of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. The Tallahassee State College VSOC counselor, Carl Schorr, is an experienced Vocational Rehabilitation counselor for the Department of Veterans Affairs. Jenn is available for consultation and support in order to assist student veterans, their families, and dependents using VA benefits with the following:

Student Veterans Association (SVA)
Student Veterans Association (SVA) is a non-political student organization that promotes a fun and inviting atmosphere for members from all branches of prior service and their supporters. The SVA assists with coordinating commemorative events for Veterans Day and hosts fellowship events among fellow veterans and SVA members at FSU and FAMU.
TSC Moore Veterans Leadership Academy
The TSC Moore Veterans Leadership Academy is a two-semester program beginning in the Fall semester that will allow our outstanding student Veterans to participate in leadership activities related to different areas of career study. This program is a two-semester commitment (fall and Spring semesters), and will consist of student participation in at least one leadership day per month. This leadership day might include participating in a community event, meeting with our community leaders, or visiting a prominent business or other service provider in our community. The Leadership Academy is open only to current student Veterans, active duty military, and members of the National Guard and Reserves. The academy is generously funded by Richard W. and Karen B. Moore.
Student Veteran Association
SVA membership is open to currently enrolled Veterans and their dependents.
Pathfinder Program
All military-connected students are automatically qualified for the Pathfinder Program.
In this program, you will have access to the Veterans Success Center (CT 206), where you will have one-stop-shop support for all your educational needs, such as advice for classes, accommodations if you have any type of disability, tutoring services (offered in the Veterans Success Center), resume assistance, and other on-going activities and programs.
