Amy Bradbury
Director of Sponsored Programs and Financial Planning

Ms. Amy Bradbury is the Director of Financial Planning and Sponsored Programs at Tallahassee State College. She is a graduate of Florida State University where she received a Master of Business in Management, as well as earning her degree in Strategy and Leadership from Michigan State University. Amy has over 20 years of experience in contract management and compliance in public service, quasi-governmental organizations and nonprofits. She is a nationally recognized trainer for non-profit capacity building and federal grant compliance, and has provided consulting services for Florida Disaster’s Fund and the Governor Christie’s Hurricane Sandy New Jersey Relief Fund. Her experience has included the role of grantor and grantee for private, corporate, and public funds through The Executive Office of the Governor, Volunteer Florida, Florida Disaster Fund, My Safe Florida Homes, Leon County Schools, and Tallahassee State College.

Andrea Oliver
Professor of History

Dr. Andrea Oliver has served as a full-time faculty member at Tallahassee State
College since 2006, teaching American, African American, and Teacher Education courses. Andrea is a native of Buffalo, New York, having also been raised in Greenville, FL. With over 25 years as an experienced educator, she began her career as a middle school social studies teacher, before becoming a director of a local program for at-risk youth. From 2014- 2019, she served as a coordinator for teacher education, helping nearly 200 students successfully transfer to bachelor's programs of Education at colleges and universities all over the state of Florida. Andrea is a graduate of Florida State University having earned her bachelor's, master's, and doctorate degrees in Communication, Education, and American History.

Angelina Kuleshova
Assistant Professor of Mathematics

Dr. Angelina Kuleshova is a fifth-year full-time mathematics instructor at Tallahassee
State College. Prior to this role, she served as an adjunct instructor at TSC gaining employment in 2007. She is an active member of the college campus and serves as the current co-chair of the Faculty Senate. Angelina recently completed her Doctorate in Educational Psychology at Florida State University. Her favorite pastime is spending time with her family that includes her husband, Lawrence, and four-year-old son, Lev (named after Vygotsky or her elementary-school crush in Russia where she grew up – her husband prefers the first). Her other pastimes include making wire jewelry, walking, meditating, and reading.

Executive Assistant, Office of the Provost

Ms. Brielle Crooms is the Executive Assistant to the Executive Vice President and Provost of Tallahassee State College, a nationally recognized top ten community college in the nation. Brielle is a graduate of Florida A&M University, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations in 2018. She is also a proud graduate of TSC where she earned her Associate of Arts degree. Throughout her collegiate journey, she gained professional experiences that molded her into a fast-paced multi-skilled worker opening many different youth volunteer and engagement opportunities in the Big Bend area. As a native of Tallahassee, FL, she anticipates to stay in her hometown to begin her graduate degree at Florida State University for the Fall 2021 semester, intending to study Higher Education.

Bryan Hooper
Associate Dean of Behavioral, Social Science, and Education 

Dr. Bryan Hooper is the Associate Dean of Behavioral Social Sciences and Education at Tallahassee State College. Bryan began his career at TSC as an OPS employee and then transitioned into teaching in the Adult Education program. He has since served in various positions including Adjunct, full-time Faculty, Program Chair, and Director of the First-Year Experience program. Hooper earned both his bachelor’s and doctoral degrees from Florida A&M University, as well as his master’s degree from Florida State University. His career path, combined with his experience pursuing higher education as a first-generation college student, has given him a unique window into the challenges and barriers faced by students labeled as “at-risk”. Such encounters have imbued him with a passion to advocate for the increase in resources and removal of barriers for students in an effort to improve and sustain educational success for all.

Felicia Williams
Career Counseling Specialist 

Dr. Felicia Williams currently serves as the Career Services Counseling Specialist at
Tallahassee State College. Prior to this role, she served as an instructor at TSC and
began her employment at the college in 2006. She believes that everyone is faced with making decisions that affect the world around us both personally and professionally, and that everyone should be aware of their personal values and ethics as to how they guide daily decisions. As a lifelong learner, Felicia earned both her Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Master of Education in Counselor Education from Florida A&M University; as well as her Doctor of Education degree in Instructional Leadership from Nova Southeastern University. Felicia is an avid traveler and loves the opportunity to learn from and about other cultures.

Gerald Jones
Dean of Student Services

Dr. Gerald Jones currently serves as the Dean of Students Services at Tallahassee State College and has worked within this role since 2019. Prior to this position, he served as the Director of Student Life at Seminole State College since 2012. Gerald is a nationally recognized speaker and author having offered professional services through his "Be A Champion" company, where he has written and authored books on life and leadership. As a leader and motivational speaker, Gerald is a coach style leader who encourages employees to step outside of their boxes and try new tasks, while offering them guidance and constructive feedback. Additionally, he works with employees to achieve basic sets of tasks and goals, while giving them space to deliver trend setting programs and services. Gerald is a graduate of the University of Central Florida, where he earned an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership with a specialization in Higher Education.

Director of Continuing Workforce Education 

Ms. Jessica Griffin is the Director of Continuing Workforce Education within the Division of Workforce Development at Tallahassee State College. She is a graduate of Florida A&M University and Nova Southeastern University. As a young professional, Griffin has garnered over 14 years’ experience in education with eight years of this time being spent in higher education. She dedicates herself to assisting others in reaching greater heights. When she is not busy you can find her with family or serving the community through her sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.

Professor of Fine and Applied Arts

Professor Julie Baroody has been a full-time faculty member of Tallahassee State
College since 1997. She teaches a wide range of art courses running the gamut from Drawing and Painting to Jewelry Making and Photography. Additionally, she fills an active role on campus as the lead for the College's Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP). Her passions and career have led her to use her adaptive leadership style to teach art. She also believes that communication and collaboration are key factors in any successful leadership situation. Julie is a graduate of Florida State University where she earned her Master's of Fine Art degree in Studio Art, as well as her B.F.A in Studio Art and a B.A. in Economics from Gettysburg College.

Kenneth Tellis
Advising Coordinator Ghazvini Center for Healthcare Education

Dr. Ken Tellis serves an Advising Coordinator within the Division of Healthcare Programs at Tallahassee State College. Tellis earned his Bachelor’s in Business from Troy University; Master’s in Public Administration from Florida State University; and PhD in Educational Leadership at Florida A&M University. He is a very active member of the community, having served or collaborated with organizations such as the YMCA, 50 Large, Leon Schools’ District Advisory Council, Alpha Phi Omega National Service Fraternity, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Incorporated. Additionally, he started the Iron Men’s Initiative (a mentoring program for males age 8 to 18) in 2007, currently involving more than 100 local males of youth who are being mentored by positive and influential males through local organizations. His philosophy as an educational leader is centered around “servant leadership”. He believes that organizational goals are best accomplished by helping team members meet their individual goals.

Nicholas Vick
Director of Learning Commons and Honors Program

Dr. Nicholas Vick is the Director of the Learning Commons and Honors Program at
Tallahassee State College. Nick earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in
English Education, as well as his Doctorate of Education degree in Educational Leadership from Sam Houston State University. He is a graduate of the American Association of
Community Colleges (AACC) Future Leaders Institute and the Pitt County Chamber Leadership Institute. In 2018, Nick completed the Global Education Leaders Program
through the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is a seasoned administrator and instructor who is dedicated to student success. Nick has received numerous awards for his work in academic support including the North Carolina Tutoring and Learning Association Center of the Year and the Frank L. Christ Outstanding Center recognition from the National College Learning Center Association.

Stephen Banister
Director of Library Services

Mr. Stephen Banister currently serves as the Director of Library Services at Tallahassee
State College. He is the current chair of the Member's Council of FALSC. From 2010- 2018, he was the library director at Minot State University while serving as the chair of the North Dakota Library Coordinating Council from 2013-2018. Prior to his engagement with Minot State University, he held library directorships at McKendree University, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and Lamar State College-Orange. Stephen earned both his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Nicholls State University, as well as his Master of Arts degree from Louisiana State University. In addition to both degrees, Stephen has completed extensive Ph.D. level work at Capella University in Higher Education Administration.

Susan Wessner
Professor of Developmental Mathematics

Professor Susan Wessner serves as a full-time faculty member for Developmental Mathematics at Tallahassee State College and has served the College in various ways since 1987. Susan is a graduate of Florida State University, where she earned both her bachelor's and master’s degree in Mathematics Education. With over 33 years of teaching, she is passionate about teaching students who need to “brush up” on their math skills before they can tackle college level courses. During her time at TSC, she has served as an adjunct instructor, assistant professor, served on numerous committees, and has been a mentor in four different mentoring programs. Additionally, she wrote/compiled the last two MAT0018 student notebooks for the lower level developmental math classes. She was a NISOD Excellence award winner in 2011, and in 2012 was ranked as the #12 highest rated college professor in the country by the Ratemyprofessors.com website. Susan loves to teach math and turning her students into her “Math Nerd Army”.
